The Uniqorn Café

Canoe Kayak Nova Scotia (CKNS) Social Paddle - Cape Breton

Louisbourg Boardwalk Park and Boat Launch

The leader for this event is Allan MacDougall. While we can paddle up to the Frederic Gate we will not be landing on National Park Grounds. This paddle, although taking place in the shelter of Louisbourg harbour, it is dependent upon weather and could be canceled the morning of the event. In this event, the paddle is canceled upon arrival at the launch site an alternate location would be used. Registration is required (in case of cancellation and for # management). A free luncheon information session sponsored by our Nova Scotia, age-friendly community grant will be held with guest speaker, Officer Gary Fraser, speaking about home, vehicle and personal safety, scams and fraud. Counsellor Steve Parsons will be in attendance and available for any questions or concerns and Ken from Brian Comer’s office will have information about age-friendly grants.
