Organizations that support crime prevention initiatives and victims of crime are now eligible for a one-time grant up to $50,000 through a new provincial program. The Civil Forfeiture Grant Program is funded with cash and assets from unlawful activities seized by law enforcement and forfeited to the province. The funding is available to community based not-for-profits.
Local governments, law enforcement agencies and academic institutions are also eligible to apply. Individuals are not eligible.
The Program provides up to $50,000 per project.
