Tech Tea with Teens

A New Horizons for Seniors Digital Literacy Program. Are you an older adult with questions about how to use your laptop, tablet, or mobile phone? Bring your device to the library and enjoy some tea & treats while receiving basic technology help from students in Sydney Academy’s O2 program. No registration required. Please note that the volunteers will not be familiar with library-specific apps like Libby or PressReader. These drop-in sessions are meant to help you perform simple tasks on your devices.

Book Launch: Cape Breton’s Christmas Book 10

Everyone is welcome to this festive Book Launch for Cape Breton’s Christmas Book 10! Come for the stories and get into the holiday spirit. Light refreshments will be served. The Cape Breton’s Christmas books are collected and edited by Ron Caplan (Cape Breton Books) and all royalties from the CB Christmas books go to Feed Nova Scotia.
