Do you have winter clothing in good condition to spare? The McConnell Library will be collecting clean, gently used winter clothing items for all ages, including winter coats, hats, gloves/mittens, snow pants, thermals and more. Bring your items to the front desk of the McConnell Library during regular opening hours until December 11th.

The Uniqorn Café

CBU Art Gallery, Sydney

The Uniqorn Cafe is a monthly 2SLGBTQIA+ social event hosted by the CBU Art Gallery. It is free and open to community members and allies of all ages. Refreshments are provided, along with games, colouring, art activities, music, and an open mic. Guests are welcome to join in the festivities as they wish, or just sit back and relax in our friendly and welcoming, safe space. Are you an older adult with questions about how to use your laptop, tablet, or mobile phone? Bring your device to the library and enjoy some tea & treats while receiving basic technology help from students in Sydney Academy’s O2 program. No registration required. Please note that the volunteers will not be familiar with library-specific apps like Libby or PressReader. These drop-in sessions are meant to help you perform simple tasks on your devices.
